New Delhi: Keeping in mind the falling prices of gram and heavy imports in the country, the central government has imposed import duty on its imports. So that rural farmers can get their fair price. This year the production of gram has also been good. In this situation, gram prices are falling.

In the last one month, the price of gram has fallen by Rs 25. 500 to Rs. 5,600 to Rs. 5,650 per quintal. In such a situation, applying import duty on gram can support its prices.
