Indore (Madhya Pradesh): One died and four others were injured in a collision between a chartered passenger bus and a truck on Ksaravad Road near Indore on Wednesday.
The spot is 12 kilometers from the Khargone district headquarters. The accident took place on Wednesday at around 9 AM when the bus, heading towards Indore, collided with the truck.
The accused truck driver fled the spot. Police has started search to nab him.
According to information, the truck driver is said to be at fault as he drove the vehicle from the wrong side.
The deceased has been identified as Narayan, aged 42, from Rajgarh.
And, the injured passengers are Chandra Singh (50) from Gauridham, Altaf (42) from Rishika Nagar, Dharmendra (43) from Lakshmi Nagar, and Shyam (23) from Surpala. They were all brought to the district hospital for treatment.
Area Known For Frequent Accidents
The area where the accident occurred, Nimgul, is known for frequent accidents, as it is a black spot on the road.
Vehicles lose balance while descending towards Kasrawad, and locals also cross the road here.
Many accidents have taken place in the past, and there is a need for road improvements and better signage to prevent such incidents in the future.
