Chennai Super Kings (CSK) keeper-batter MS Dhoni left the fans at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in awe with his lightning-fast stumping during the IPL 2025 clash against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Stunningly, the 43-year-old’s reaction time was only 0.12 as he stumped the visiting captain Suryakumar Yadav.

The dismissal of Suryakumar Yadav occurred in the 11th over of the innings as the right-handed batter stepped out to flick the ball on the on-side. However, he completely missed it and was at least a foot out of the crease. Dhoni seized the opportunity and flicked the bails off. The square-leg umpire had sent it upstairs but the dismissal was quite clear.

Below is the video of the same:

At the time of writing this, Noor, the left-arm wrist-spinner, had dismissed Robin Minz and Tilak Varma as well in the same over to add two more wickets to his tally.

Ruturaj Gaikwad had won the toss and elected to field in Chennai

Meanwhile, the toss had fallen in Ruturaj Gaikwad’s favour and he had opted to bowl first. Nevertheless, Suryakumar Yadav said he was okay to bat first, citing the absence of dew.

CSK playing XI: Ruturaj Gaikwad(c), Rachin Ravindra, Deepak Hooda, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, MS Dhoni(w), Ravichandran Ashwin, Noor Ahmad, Nathan Ellis, Khaleel Ahmed.
