Aligarh: A shocking incident has come to light from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, where a locker spring maker has received an income tax notice of Rs 11 crore 11 lakh and 85,000. The man, named Yogesh, lives in Naruangabad, under the Gandhi Park Police station area. Yogesh belongs to a very poor family and works as a daily wage labourer, making springs for locks to support his family.

Family Struggles with Basic Needs
Yogesh’s financial situation is dire. His wife has been battling tuberculosis for the past two years, and they live in a rented house. Due to unpaid bills, their electricity has been disconnected. Despite struggling to make ends meet, receiving such a huge tax notice has left the family in deep distress.

A Plea for Help
After getting the notice, Yogesh urged the government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help. He expressed his shock and confusion, saying, “I was shocked when I received the notice. I have never seen such a huge amount in my life. My wife and I are both troubled and we can’t even afford a proper meal.”
Similar Cases in Aligarh
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred in Aligarh. A few months ago, a juice seller also received an income tax notice of Rs 7.89 crore, leaving his family in a similar state of distress.
